I was about six years old when I first became interested in amateur architecture. My parents bought Design Your Own Home, a book on basic home architecture. Ever since, I'll pickup a pencil to occasionally work out a new idea for a floor plan. I occasionally will borrow and idea from a friend's house or from HomeArama, which I attempt to attend every year.

Dream Home Features

• One wall of the dining room will be a reef marine acquarium
• The acquarium will see-through to either an office or foyer
• Full basement will be deep enough for full high ceilings
• A very large kitchen will be open to the great room
• The formal living room will double as a music/radio/reading room - no TV!, but room for Grand Piano
• The basement will be a rec room with big screen, pool table, fusball table, darts, and full bar.
• The jaccuzi in the back yard will be situated such that the big tv can be seen through a window

• Short walk through butler's pantry in the thick wall between kitchen and dining room
